We wish there were a clearer choice and that there was a candidate with Dale Ogden's sensibilities and ideas but who was actually electable.  So, holding our collective breath over the possibility that she will turn into just another Republican Governor like Arnold Schwarzennegger, we support Meg Whitman for Governor.  Our primary objective here is to keep Jerry Brown from recycling his tired and damaging promotion of big government, public union favoritism, environmental excessiveness and general disdain for all of us who have had to work so hard to support his lifestyle and that of his cronies over the last 40 years.

Not a position of much importance in California except as a possible grooming position for higher office.  Based upon her  messsaging and a rare understanding that environmental responsibility and  freedom in the private sector are not mutually exclusive and based upon the private-sector-hostile record of the other candidates, we recommend Libertarian Pamela Brown for Lieutenant Governor.

This is obviously a two person race and the choice is very clear for anyone who values fairness, economic freedom and preservation of opportunity in the private sector.  There is nearly nothing good that we can find in Barbara Boxer's long reign as California's US Senator.  She is a champion of big government and consistently demonstrates an arogant lack of concern for the business world in which 75% of us make our living.  Carly Fiorina is our choice for the U.S. Senate.  She appears to get it and will work harder in  all the right directions and in the end will be a better choice for all of us in California.
