 UCAPS.ORG Objectives

1. Bring public service workers pay, benefits and work rules back into parity with the private sector.  The typical public service worker retires early with pension and benefits worth over 1 million dollars paid for by UCAPS members struggling to save for their own retirement.

2. Prevent future taxpayer money or borrowing from being applied to the massive half a trillion dollar public pension tsunami and if that is not possible, demand equal and pro rata benefits be applied to private sector workers.

3. Stop and reverse the unnecessary environmental and regulatory extremism that has chased away over two million private sector jobs while growing government by over 10% in California .

4. Protect private sector workers from the legislated health care changes and disruptions that will not be applied to the very people who are creating and administering them!

5. Stop the runaway growth in the size and cost of state, local and federal government.  Fight political favoritism and demand  fair and unbiased cost-benefit analysis and transparent accounting for all government programs.  For example, almost the entire trillion dollar stimulus has been directed to the public sector with the false claim that some of it would trickle down to the private sector.
