Whereas the Government of the State of California has become very hostile and harmful to the proper functioning of our private sector and whereas the Public Sector Unions have come to dominate and direct our political processes and legislative output,

We the people, who rely upon a vibrant and prosperous Private Sector for our livelihoods, unite in order to create a more equitable political environment and to insure the restoration and maintenance of a healthy and growing economy in California with more liberty and more opportunity for all.  Toward that end we resolve:

 1.       To create a politically oriented organization whose purpose is to a) counterbalance public sector union excesses and b) restore, preserve and protect private sector opportunities for ourselves and our children.

2.      To encourage voting-as-a- block for political candidates who vow to resist and reverse the fraudulent deal making between the public sector unions and the government.

3.      To encourage voting-as-a- block for political candidates who vow to resist and reverse the unnecessarily burdensome government taxes, fees and regulations that continue to chase millions of good jobs from California.

4.      To encourage voting-as-a-block for or against initiatives based on whether or not they provide for equal treatment of the public and private sectors.

5.       To encourage voting-as-a-block against initiatives that burden state and local economies with unnecessarily restrictive rules and regulations.

6.      To educate ourselves and our communities about the pervasively negative effects of expanding government on opportunity in the Private Sector.

7.      To provide a source for private health insurance that is portable from job to job and, as the new health care legislation takes effect, to position UCAPS members for health care equivalency with the public sector.

8.       To explore the creation of a portable pension program for private sector workers and to position ourselves to demand a fair share of any public money that may be earmarked for the burgeoning unfunded liabilities of public sector pensions (or for other union pensions seeking rescue from the government).

9.      To create a job exchange where private sector Californians who understand the criticality of economic freedom and personal responsibility can provide or find jobs.
